Tell us about your design company, is it more than just designs that you offer?

We began idsadult.com in 2002. It was a company that started off very intimate creating specific designs for particular customers. Over the years the design company has bloomed and blossomed. Now we have a team of 20 working for us. One of our main advantages as a company is being located in Argentina, South America. We can offer our clients good quality and creative work at fair prices. The time difference between the US/Canada and Central European countries gives us the opportunity to work hand in hand with our customers. This subtle difference of time gives us a huge advantage when working globally. As a company I feel that yes, we do offer more than just designs, we offer a quality and affordable product. We do our utmost to represent the company at all conferences and shows that we can in the USA and Europe. We pride ourselves in offering our customers the chance to meet the company face to face, which is often very rare with overseas companies.

For us, here at idsadult.com, we understand the importance of a steady and honest relationship with our clients; we offer great customer service not just designs. In terms of technicalities the company also offers a PHP programming and creative writing service. Our specialized team of workers, work together to create the best solution for your company. We have a database of very happy customers who want to continue working with us due to our healthy work ethic. We can offer them everything they need in terms of creating a profitable and marketable design.

How did you get into design and why did you decide to work in the adult business

In 2000 I was studying Electronics Engineering and I met a local guy online who was running TGP. I became interested and this guy told me to check out the GFY forum to learn about how to create a household business. I became intrigued and began doing some webmastering work, submitting galleries, creating small PHP scripts etc. This opened my eyes to a lot of things. Back in those days everything was made “by hand” and by using basic programs and a good knowledge of HTML. I started out on the web as a hobby. I later met a guy called Brad which I refer to as my mentor. He taught me a lot of things and we became great friends. Since that day I saw the potential of working in an online adult community. I created iDSadult to begin, with the idea of providing only web design for Brad. After a short span of time, the site became popular and people were impressed by the quality of the work and the word started spreading. And here we are now, 20 people strong and we have the intention of opening another branch in Miami very soon.

Do you have clients outside of the porn business?

Yes we do. We also run ids-outsourcing.com which is strictly for mainstream businesses who are interested in creating a professional website or blog.

Congratulations on the GFY award for best design studio, how happy are you of this accomplishment?

Thank you. This was one of the happiest moments of my life. I have just become a father 6 months ago and life has given me two great presents in a very short space of time. I feel like this is the result of working and being surrounded by great and inspiring people. This award in reality goes to our team of talented designers. They are consistently delivering great work that our clients never fail to be disappointed with. Whilst I was in Amsterdam, I couldn’t stop thinking about my wife and all the times she supported me whilst working under very time consuming conditions. The recognition of our work by the adult community was something that touched my heart. There are an abundance of really lovely people working in this industry and being awarded by such inspirations is something I can’t appreciate enough.

List a few sites you have worked on that you are proud of

This is a difficult question. The list is huge! Working with so many customers and affiliate programs, we have to sign lots of NDA documents as they want to keep their sources private. Therefore I cannot disclose any specific sites but I can tell you that many large and recognizable adult sites are being designed by us. Just to tease you, large names like Braincash, ARS and Only Tease are regular clients.

What are some of your favourite websites in terms of design and UX?

I have noticed a few websites which I am really impressed with. In terms of sponsor sites I like seemybucks.com  a lot because in terms of UX & Design they do a great job in communicating what they sell. With regards to paysites, I love the layout and design of http://www.amourangels.com/
The ethereal tone offers a delicate and inviting atmosphere to the site. http://tour.girlsoutwest.com/  has a great UX and simple design. It is classic and reaches out to an everyday audience.
http://femjoy.com/  is so elegant in style and has a wonderful UX and design layout. It offers something classy and fresh to its audiences. http://vivid.com/ has a very high rate of conversion and the coding of the site is just perfect. Finally I believe http://www.fleshlight.com/ has a fantastic UX. With so many adult websites on the market, standing out from the crowd is so important. For me, these are some of my favourite designs.
